INFORMATION / ACCESSIBILITY

BUILT FOR
MORE RUNNERS.

We want the public website to be usable with different devices, input methods, zoom levels, motion preferences, and assistive technologies.

Our target

We aim for the public website at raptorrun.co.uk to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. This statement covers the public marketing and information website; the Raptor Run app is a separate interface and requires its own mobile accessibility assessment.

What the website supports

  • semantic headings, landmarks, lists, links, buttons, and a skip-to-content link;
  • keyboard navigation for site controls and the dinosaur viewer;
  • visible focus styles and no requirement to drag a 3D model to access its core information;
  • text alternatives for informative images and still-image fallbacks for 3D models;
  • responsive reflow, text zoom, readable contrast, and labels that do not rely on colour alone;
  • reduced decorative motion when the operating system requests reduced motion;
  • plain text around silent demonstration media so essential product information is not available only in video.

Current status and known limitations

The site has been self-evaluated during development and receives automated structural checks during each production build. A full independent WCAG audit and testing across a representative assistive-technology matrix have not yet been completed, so we do not claim verified full conformance.

  • The interactive 3D dinosaur viewer uses WebGL and may not be practical with every assistive technology. Equivalent names, preview images, and descriptions are available without manipulating the model.
  • Some very large display headings are intentionally condensed. The underlying text remains selectable and zoomable, but users may prefer browser reader mode for long articles and legal pages.
  • Third-party browser or map behaviour can vary outside our control.

Feedback and alternative formats

If you cannot access part of the site, need information in another format, or want to report a barrier, email [email protected]. Include the page, device or assistive technology, and the format or outcome you need; do not include unnecessary medical information. We will acknowledge accessibility requests as soon as reasonably possible and aim to provide a useful response within 10 working days.

Assessment and review

This statement was prepared and last reviewed on 23 September 2026 using self-evaluation, keyboard review, responsive checks, reduced-motion review, and automated build checks. It will be reviewed after material design changes and at least annually. WCAG is a technical baseline, not a limit on reasonable adjustments or accessible alternatives required by applicable law.

Enforcement and complaints

Please contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue. UK service providers may also have duties to make reasonable adjustments under equality law. Nothing in this statement limits a right to contact an applicable equality, consumer, or accessibility authority.

Effective and last updated: 23 September 2026. Previous versions may be requested by email.
