Hunted: run by instinct
Hunted is the unpredictable mode. Once your warm-up is over, chases can arrive at random within the range you set. It is a good choice when you want the feeling of an unfolding pursuit rather than a tightly planned session. You can keep running until you decide to stop.
Intervals: run with a plan
Intervals lets you choose the number of chases and the recovery between them. Each chase becomes an effort in a structured workout. You can tune the chase duration and difficulty, then use the rest period to prepare for the next encounter.
Just Run: keep it simple
Just Run switches dinosaur chases off. You still get the core run recording experience: movement, distance, pace, route, and a summary when you finish. Use it when you want an easier day or prefer to set your own rhythm.
Choose the pressure, then tune it
If you choose a chase mode, you can adjust difficulty, warm-up, dinosaur selection, and other run settings. Difficulty changes the target pace relative to your baseline, while chase duration controls how long you need to hold the effort. This separation lets a short chase still be demanding, or a longer one feel steadier.
If you are unsure, start with the mode that sounds enjoyable today. There is no requirement to chase every time you go out.
