What Raptor Run is built around
Raptor Run records an outdoor run and can turn parts of it into pace-driven dinosaur encounters. In Hunted mode, encounters can arrive at less predictable times. In Intervals, you set the number of chases and recovery between them. Just Run records a session without chases. The app also includes run summaries, goals, workouts, achievements, and groups.
What Strava documents
Strava's own help pages describe activity recording, routes, segments, performance analysis, clubs, and challenges. Some documented features depend on subscription or device. Those tools may matter to someone who wants to analyse routes or take part in a larger activity community. For current availability and terms, check Strava's own documentation rather than relying on a comparison page that may age.
Which experience are you looking for?
If your immediate question is “How can I give this run a sense of adventure?”, Raptor Run's dinosaur encounters are the feature to explore. If your question is “What route, segment, or club tools are available?”, Strava documents those areas in detail. These are descriptions of product focus, not a claim that one app is universally better or more accurate.
This article does not claim that Raptor Run connects to Strava. A public connection has not been verified. It also makes no comparison of price, reliability, or safety. Those would require current, like-for-like evidence.
How this comparison was checked
Raptor Run features were checked against the current app code on 22 September 2026. Strava details were checked against its subscription feature guide and clubs and challenges guide on the same date. Raptor Run is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Strava.
